Arrest Made in 2010 Fatal Stabbing at Suffolk County Home

A 23-year-old upstate man has been charged with the 2010 murder of a Long Island man, Suffolk Police said.

Christopher James, of Binghamton, is charged with second degree murder in the death of 38-year-old Kevin Pierson.

Pierson was found dead from stab wounds in the bedroom of his Central Islip home at 4 Maplewing Drive on Feb. 12, 2010, police said. 

James will be held overnight at the Third Precinct and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday.
