HAUPPAUGE, NY- As part of its continued efforts to match local job seekers with vacant positions in in-demand fields, the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing & Consumer Affairs (SCDOLLCA) has announced a series of upcoming, free-to-attend job fairs in February. All potential job seekers—regardless of skillset or experience—looking for a career change or those simply hoping to learn more about promising employment paths in the region are encourage to attend any of these eye-opening opportunities.

“There are more than 14,800 jobs open on Long Island today. Our job fairs provide an opportunity to explore and gain access to amazing careers on Long Island.,” said SCDOLLCA Commissioner Rosalie Drago. “Residents should not worry if they do not have job experience as many of these employers provide training and opportunities for additional education while you earn a living. Everyone looking for a job or career change is encouraged to attend these free events to access these potentially life-changing opportunities these programs have to offer.”
