Bay Shore Woman Extricated After Rollover Crash At Route 347, Route 111 In Hauppauge: Police
A Lexus overturned after a left-turn collision at the busy Hauppauge intersection Wednesday morning, police say.

HAUPPAUGE, NY — A Bay Shore woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash that caused an overturn at the intersection of Route 347 and Route 111 Wednesday morning, according to Suffolk County police.
Fourth Squad detectives said the crash happened at approximately 9:36 a.m. when a 2025 Toyota SUV traveling westbound on Route 347 collided with a 2007 Lexus that was traveling eastbound and attempting to make a left turn onto northbound Route 111.
The impact caused the Lexus to overturn, police said.

A front-seat passenger in the Lexus, identified as Sandra Rodriguez-Trujillo, 50, of Bay Shore, had to be extricated by the fire department and was transported by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious physical injuries, according to police.
The Toyota driver, Jonathan Matzelle, 37, of Ridge, and the Lexus driver, Nelson Canales, 44, of Bay Shore, were also taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
