Bellone Visits Hauppauge House Party

Steve Bellone, Democratic candidates for County Executive, speaks about his plans for Suffolk and health care.

Steve Bellone, Democratic candidates for Suffolk County Executive, visited a Hauppauge house party this Saturday.

Homeowner Martin Aponte said he invited Bellone to speak as he supports Bellone, but wanted to get to know more in depth about his stance on county and local issues. His primary concerns heading into the November elections are health care coverage and control of local drug trafficking.

Bellone, also the Town of Babylon supervisor, shared with about 25 local residents how his work in the Babylon relates to his plans for Suffolk County should he be elected. Top on his list were a detailed review of each county department for efficiency, spending money to maximize use of pubic assets such as parks and focusing on longterm troubles.
