Burglar Cuts Hole In Roof Of Hauppauge Restaurant, Steals Cash

The break-in was reported on Sunday night.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - A burglary was reported at a Japanese restaurant in Hauppauge on Sunday night, according to Suffolk Police.

Someone broke into Gasho of Japan on 356 Motor Parkway at about 11 p.m. by cutting a hole in the roof of the restaurant.

The burglar then stole cash from the business before fleeing.
