Charitable Chefs

Hauppauge Middle School’s Chef’s Club students recently baked and donated more than seven dozen cookies for the Smithtown Historical Society’s annual “Heritage Country Christmas” event. The Chef’s Club members meet every week to cook and bake a variety of foods as well as to have an opportunity to enjoy the “fruits of their labors.” The Middle School hosts fall and spring sessions of the Chef’s Club, and students are selected via a lottery system since it is such a popular offering.
