That Doesn't Belong There
A 30-foot boat ended up on top of a Long Island Expressway median Saturday evening.

HAUPPAUGE, NY – A 30-foot boat that was improperly secured onto a trailer attached to a pickup truck became dislodged and ended up on top of a Long Island Expressway median Saturday evening, police said.
It happened shortly before 7 p.m. in the westbound lanes between exits 56 and 57 in Hauppauge.
The driver of a Dodge pickup truck was issued a summonses for having an unregistered trailer and an unsecured load, police said. The driver was not injured.

The boat struck the back of the Dodge, went into the median and came to rest with the bow of the boat on top of the center divider blocking the HOV lane of traffic, police said.
