Islandia Village Mayor Allan Dorman will be joined by local officials in paying tribute to war veterans by laying a memorial wreath at the Islandia Veterans War Memorial at the intersection of Old Nichols Road and Johnson Avenue. A flyover by a Vietnam era era helicopter will mark the ceremony, which attendees will have a chance to get an upclose look at after landing.
U.S.O - type entertainment will be provided by the Victory Belles and a cold brunch will be served following the events.
