The Islip Arts Council's Discover Music Series presents "What's That Jazz All About?" class lead by jazz saxophonist Shenole Latimer. Latimer will combine live performance, lecturing, and carefully selected recordings of classic pieces from jazz icons to teach the audience how to follow jazz tunes and appreciate their sound. Musics played and performed may includes songs from Miles Davis and Long Island resident John Coltrane.
