Hauppauge's Fashion Marketing Students Tour New York City's Fashion Institute of Techonolgy Campus
Students in Hauppauge High School’s Fashion Marketing class accompanied Teacher Michelle Alvarez and Department Director Doreen Gordon on an exciting tour of the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) campus in New York City. The students learned about various FIT programs of study, including: Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Jewelry Design, Photography, Fine Arts, among others. They also had an opportunity to view the textile lab, computer lab and design studios as well as observe current FIT students at work on their designs.
