Construction on the new Turf Field at Hauppauge High School commenced with a special Ground Breaking Ceremony on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. School administrators as well as student-athletes and leadership from the Hauppauge Youth Sports Organizations joined the Board of Education in a ceremony to kick off the project.
When complete, the new Turf Field will offer a state-of-art playing surface to be utilized by school and community athletic teams as well as the Physical Education and Music Departments at Hauppauge High School. The field will be home to Hauppauge’s football, lacrosse, soccer and track and field teams. The scheduled completion date for the new Turf Field is August 31, 2016.
