Hauppauge Students Enjoy Holiday Fun Run

Students and Staff Participate in Hauppauge Middle School's 5th Annual Jingle Bell Run

Approximately 50 students and staff members participated in Hauppauge Middle School’s 5th annual Jingle Bell Run on December 18, 2014. The Jingle Bell Run is a one-mile run that takes place at the middle school prior to the start of classes.

The first 50 students and staff members who signed up to participate in the Jingle Bell Run received a free special student designed long-sleeve t-shirt and jingle bells for their sneakers to wear for the run as well as throughout the rest of the day. “In addition to enjoying a fun holiday event, the Jingle Bell Run teaches students about the importance of exercise and maintaining their physical health all year long,” described Principal Maryann Fletcher. “This healthy holiday event has become a favorite tradition at Hauppauge Middle School.”
