HAUPPAUGE STUDENTS HELP PRESERVE LI BEACHES

HAUPPAUGE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN 17th ANNUAL COASTAL CLEANUP AT ROBERT MOSES STATE PARK

Approximately 50 Hauppauge High School students donated their time to the annual Coastal Cleanup at Robert Moses State Park. Students from Jeffrey Yablon’s Living Environments classes and the High School’s Interact Club, along with teachers Heidy Valeejo-Gonzalez and Alyssa DePinto, were on hand to remove debris washed ashore and/or left behind from beach-goers. This marks the 17th year that Hauppauge High School students and staff members have contributed to the beautification and preservation of Long Island’s precious beaches and waterways.
