Hauppauge Middle School students recently stepped back in time to learn about what life was like in medieval days. The sixth graders created a medieval journal as they visited each Medieval Day station – featuring: archery, Maypole dancing, jousting, mosaics, stained glass, mythical creatures, medieval fashion, medieval cooking, the Black Plague, and medieval gardens and medicine.
