Hauppauge Vocational Students Thanks School and Business Community Members

Hauppauge High School’s vocational class students recently hosted their annual Vocational Diner for 40 guests. The 12 students researched, planned, shopped, prepared and served all of the food featured on the menu to community members and Hauppauge board members, administrators and staff.

The vocational class students also thanked members of the business community who provided them with internship opportunities – where they learned important job skills – as well as secured permanent employment in some instances to Hauppauge vocational program graduates. The participating companies included: Dress Barn in Hauppauge, Petco in Commack, Costello’s Ace Hardware in Nesconset and The Opportunity Preschool (TOPS) in Hauppauge.
