The following Hauppauge High School students were winners at the DECA State Career Conference, which was held on March 3-6, 2015 in Rochester, New York.

In addition to the above students, Holly Chen, Stephanie Gang, and Brian Hillis also competed and attended Leadership Workshops. Four-year DECA Member and President Erin Stitt was enrolled in the New York DECA Honor Society.
DECA’s mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Membership in DECA provides students with opportunities to develop skills in the areas of vocational understanding, leadership development, civic consciousness and social intelligence.
