HAUPPAUGE, NY - The Long Island Expressway was closed down for over 3 hours after a truck struck an overpass on Tuesday night, according to Suffolk Police.
Officers responded to a call that truck that struck the overpass at exit 55 at 9:55 p.m.
The road was closed until about 1:30 a.m.
