Man Kept Pit Bull Trapped In Home With Feces, Urine: SPCA
The 41-year-old was charged with animal cruelty to failing to take care of his 1-year-old dog, the SPCA says.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - A New York City man was charged with animal cruelty after his dog was found trapped in a Hauppauge home covered in feces and urine last week, according to the Suffolk County SPCA.
Kareem Johnson, 41, was arrested on Friday for failing to provide sustenance for an extended period of time to his 1-year-old pit bull, Moxi, the SPCA said.

Moxi was found confined in an area filled with feces and urine in a Hauppauge home.

He was seized by the Suffolk County SPCA and transported to a local animal shelter.
Johnson is scheduled to appear in court on August 9.
