Man Robs Islandia Bank: Police
The man handed the teller a note demanding cash, to which the employee complied, police say.

ISLANDIA, NY — An Islandia bank was robbed on Saturday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
A man entered Chase Bank, at 1455 Veterans Memorial Highway, around 12:30 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash, police said. The teller complied with the man’s demand and gave him cash from the drawer, police said. The man ran away from the bank, police said.
Police described the man as black, in his mid-40s to 50 years old, roughly 5 feet 10 inches tall and approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray fitted baseball cap, white disposable mask, light-colored golf shirt and dark pants, police said.
