Man Used Stolen Credit Card Info To Buy Gift Cards

The man was caught on surveillance video walking out of the store after making the fraudulent purchases.

ISLANDIA, NY - Police are looking for a man who used stolen credit card information to make fraudulent purchases last month at a store in Islandia.

On August 8, the man (pictured above) purchased numerous gift cards at Walmart on 1850 Veterans Memorial Highway.

The man fraudulently used a victim’s credit card information to pay for the purchases which totaled $180.

He was described as having a thin build, wearing dark-colored shorts, a white t-shirt, a white baseball cap and white sneakers.

He was accompanied by a black female with long dark hair who was wearing a red baseball cap, a light-colored tank top, shorts and white sneakers.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
