Man Wanted For Planting Skimming Device On Hauppauge ATM

Police are also seeking a second man who may have been a lookout.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - Police are seeking a man who put a skimming device on an ATM in Hauppauge in July.

The man (pictured left) entered the vestibule area of M&T Bank at 140 Adams Avenue on July 20
and placed a skimming device in the ATM’s card reader.

A second man (pictured right) may have been acting as a lookout.

The man who planted the device is described as in his 30s with a thin build.

The lookout had a medium to heavy build and is in his 20s.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
