Missing Islandia Man With Dementia Found
The 73-year-old was reported missing on Monday.

ISLANDIA, NY - An Islandia man with dementia and hypertension reported missing this week has been found, according to Suffolk Police.
Anthony “Tony” Defeo, 73, was located unharmed as of Tuesday morning.

ISLANDIA, NY - Suffolk Police have issued a Silver Alert on Monday for a missing Islandia man who suffers from dementia and hypertension.

Anthony “Tony” Defeo, 73, has gone missing from The Arbors Assisted Living at Islandia East on 1515 Veterans Memorial Highway.
He was last seen walking west across Veterans Memorial Highway at 5:10 p.m. on Sunday.
He may be heading to his previous address at 33 Magnet Street in Stony Brook or Cedar Beach in Mount Sinai.
He is described as 5-foot-7, 150 pounds, with short grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a black tee shirt with white lettering (including the word “beer”), blue jeans and white sneakers.
