NEW MATH DIRECTOR FOR HAUPPAUGE

MASSAPEQUA'S LAUREN KNUDSEN APPOINTED HAUPPAUGE SCHOOL DISTRICT'S DIRECTOR OF MATHEMATICS AND STUDENT DATA

Hauppauge School District is pleased to welcome Lauren Knudsen as the new director of Mathematics and Student Data for Hauppauge School District. “We welcome Lauren to our District with confidence that she will nurture and grow our already strong program in math and support all teachers with the use of student data to inform instruction, ” stated Superintendent of Schools Patricia Sullivan-Kriss.

Knudsen previously served as administrative coordinator for Mathematics K-12 in the Middle Country School District and prior to that taught in Malverne Public Schools at the high school level. Knudsen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from St. Joseph’s College; a Master of Arts in Liberal Sciences from SUNY at Stony Brook; and an Advanced Graduate Certificate, Educational Leadership, from SUNY at Stony Brook.
