A NEW TWIST ON RECESS

Forest Brook was pleased to launch the Indoor Recess Room this past month. “The Indoor Recess Room was an idea born from the Site Based Management Team,” described Principal Kristen Reingold. “The Team wanted to provide students with an opportunity to have physical activity during the winter months as well as on days when there is inclement weather.” Several of the play items were donated by the PTA and the community. “Forest Brook students are actively using the room on a daily basis and are having a great time while they are expending lots of physical energy,” said Ms. Reingold.
