Newborn Among Injured In Suffolk Crash Involving Garbage Truck
In addition to the baby, two others were injured in the crash on Monday morning.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - A newborn and two other people were hospitalized after a crash involving a garbage truck in Hauppauge on Monday morning, according to Suffolk Police.
A man driving a garbage truck northbound on Old Willets Path was attempting to make a right turn into 595 Old Willets Path at 9:05 a.m. when a northbound Jeep struck the passenger side of the truck.
The driver of the garbage truck was not injured.

The male driver of the Jeep, his female passenger and a newborn were all taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Jeep driver was issued a summons for driving with a suspended license.
