North Shore Farms To Open New Store In Hauppauge
The chain will be opening its latest store at the site of a former Waldbaum's that shut down in 2015.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - North Shore Farms has announced that it will be opening a new store in Hauppauge this spring, a spokesperson for the company confirmed to Patch.
The Glen-Cove based chain plans on opening the 7th Long Island store at the site of the former Waldbaum's at 126 Veterans Memorial Highway.
In 2016, the company began renovating the interior of the store, according to a permit filed with the Town of Islip.

The building has been empty since 2015 when Waldbaum's parent company, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, shutting down several Long Island stores.
An opening date has not yet been announced.

North Shore Farms also has stores in Commack, Glen Cove, Great Neck, Mineola, North Bellmore and Port Washington.
