One Person Hospitalized After Hauppauge House Fire
BREAKING: Three fire departments battled the blaze Sunday afternoon.
One person was taken the hospital after a fire ripped through a Hauppauge home Sunday afternoon.
The Hauppauge Fire Department was dispatched to 224 Northfield Road around 2:15 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire and requested the alarm to be re-activated as a working fire, bringing in mutual aid from the Smithtown and Nesconset fire departments.
The fire took about 30 minutes to completely knock down. One person was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

The Arson Squad is investigating the fire, Suffolk Police said.
