• Cinnamon recalled because of excessive lead levels (foodsafetynews.com) — A Hauppauge-based company, Galil Importing Corp., has recalled its Lior Cinnamon Ground Seasoning due to potentially elevated lead levels, and local shoppers are urged to check their spice racks. The affected 90-gram containers, lot code GAP11304 and UPC 794711005484, were sold in multiple states including New York between November 18, 2025, and September 7, 2026. Residents should discard the product or return it for a refund.
