Police: Drunk Hauppauge Woman Crashes Into House With Daughter in Car
The woman faces a felony DWI charge following crash Wednesday night, police say.

A Hauppauge woman was arrested on Wednesday on a felony DWI charge after she crashed her SUV into a house in Hauppauge with her daughter in the vehicle, according to Suffolk Police.
Arlene Lamb-Palermo, 46, crashed into a house on Sky View Court, near Hauppauge High School, at about 7:15 p.m., police said.
Her 15-year-old daughter suffered a minor injury in the crash and was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, police said.

No one inside the residence was injured, police said.
Lamb-Palermo is charged with aggravated DWI with a child 15 years old or younger–a felony under Leandra’ Law–DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.

She was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Thursday.
