Police Seeking Trio Wanted For Shooting Man In Islandia
BREAKING: The shooting occurred earlier this month.

ISLANDIA, NY - Police are seeking a trio wanted in connection with the shooting of a man in Islandia earlier this month.
A man was driving a white 4-door sedan, possibly a Pontiac Grand Am, westbound on Johnson Avenue near Lakeland County Park on the afternoon of June 14.
The driver brought the sedan to a sudden stop. Three men then exited the vehicle.

Two of the men ran to the car behind them, pulled open the passenger door and shot the passenger once with a handgun.
The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at Stony Brook University Hospital.

The trio could only be described as being between 20 and 30 years old.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
