Police: Stony Brook Mother Abducted Her 5-Year-Old Son
Police say the woman was supposed to turn the boy over to Child Protective Services.

Police say a Stony Brook woman ignored an order to turn her 5-year-old son over to Suffolk County Child Protective Services and instead fled the area with the boy.
Police are now trying to located 43-year-old Kristin Kapp and Sebastian Parsons-Kapp, who are still believed to be in New York, possibly in New York City, police said.
A family court warrant for child neglect was issued on April 27 after Kapp ignored an order to turn the child over to CPS, police said. Sebastian’s father, who previously had an order of protection against him that prohibited contact with the child, reported him missing on June 9, police said.
