HAUPPAUGE MIDDLE SCHOOL WINNERS AT MASTERS NATIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR

Hauppauge Middle School is pleased to announce that ten students qualified to participate in the Society for Science and the Public Long Island Science and Engineering Fair Broadcom MASTERS National Middle School Science Fair, which was recently held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. Hauppauge Middle School students won in the following categories:

2nd Place, Abhiram Marisetti, 6th grade, “Best Bridge Wins”

2nd Place, Jalaj Mehta, 7th grade, “The Filtration of Polyethylene Microbeads”

Honorable Mention, Alexander Rodriguez, 7th grade, “Rockin the Boat”

“Congratulations to all of this year’s Society for Science and the Public Long Island Science and Engineering Fair Broadcom MASTERS National Middle School Science Fair winners,” stated Robert Wankmuller, Hauppauge School District’s director of Science, Technology and Research. “We are very proud of their achievements and also of all of the students who participated in this year’s competition.”
