The Science Olympiad is one of the premiere science competitions in the nation. In New York, approximately 13,000 students compete each year in 23 regional tournaments across the state. Regional winners go on to compete in the state tournament and state winners compete nationally. Science Olympiad’s ever-changing lineup of events in all STEM disciplines further exposes students to practicing scientists and career choices.
