Bretton Woods Students Learn About Diabetes on Annual November 14 World Diabetes Day

Recognized annually on November 14th, World Diabetes Day was created in 1991 by the International Diabetic Foundation and the World Health Organization in response to the growing concerns about the escalating health threat posed by diabetes. In the United States today, one out of every three people has diabetes. Another 79 million people have prediabetes and are at risk of developing diabetes.
