Teen Dies After Being Ejected From Car in Central Islip Crash
The two-car crash occurred Monday evening.

A Central Islip teenager died following a head-on crash in Central Islip Monday evening in which he was ejected from his car, police said.
According to police, 17-year-old Anthony Fucci was driving a 1999 Honda Civic north on Lowell Avenue when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and struck a southbound 2008 Toyota Sequoia near Satinwood Street.
Fucci was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The driver of the Toyota, 33-year-old Vladimir Moreno, of Central, and his 4-year-old and 9-year-old sons, were also transported to Southside Hospital, where they were treated for minor injuries, police said.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information about this crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
