THANKING OUR SENIORS

HAUPPAUGE SCHOOL DISTRICT HONORS SENIOR CITIZENS

More than 100 senior citizens of the Hauppauge School District were honored with heartfelt gratitude at the Annual Senior Citizen Recognition Dinner, which recently was held at Hauppauge High School. This annual event is one way that the District, PTAs, business community and residents thank the senior citizens and recognize them for their contributions to the Hauppauge School District and the community.

District administrators, staff and PTAs prepared a delectable pasta and meatball feast, which was served to the honored guests by the Board of Education members, High School National Honor Society and Interact Club students. The High School's Musical Theatre Class entertained the senior citizens with a selection of Broadway show tunes during dinner and dessert. The evening also was highlighted by an All-District Jazz Concert performed by students from all the District’s schools.
