Fire Rips Through Hauppauge Apartment Complex
A total of eight apartments were damaged by the blaze.

HAUPPAUGE, NY - A fire broke out at a Hauppauge apartment complex on Thursday afternoon.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene of the fire at the Fairfield West complex on 558 New Highway at about 2:30 p.m.
According to Suffolk Police, a total of eight apartment units were damaged. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire appears to be non-criminal and the investigation is continuing.
The Commack, Hauppauge and Central Islip fire departments all responded to the scene.
