• Notre Dame to Award 2027 Notre Dame Evangelium Vitae Medal to Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne (nd.edu) — Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, who operate Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, are being honored with Notre Dame's 2027 Evangelium Vitae Medal for more than a century of free cancer care. Their Hawthorne facility continues to provide licensed, no-cost medical and spiritual support, funded entirely by donations, underscoring the town's role in this nationally recognized pro-life ministry.
