DUMBO Gets New Waterside Italian Eatery, Cecconi's
The new Italian restaurant opened at the Empire Stores on Water Street Tuesday.

DUMBO, BROOKLYN — A high-end Italian eatery with outposts in Istanbul, Barcelona, Berlin and London opened its first New York restaurant in DUMBO on Tuesday.
Cecconi’s Dumbo can be found in a renovated warehouse space at the Empire Stores on Water Street between Main and Dock streets.
The Italian eatery, which offers diners views of the Manhattan Bridge and the East River — will serve brunch, lunch, dinner and a family-style Sunday Supper.

There’s a special aperitivo menu called the 4 to 7 which pairs small bites with a specific beer, wine and cocktail all for under 10 bucks — meatballs, avocado and chickpea dip and Quail eggs plus a glass of prosecco run just $7.
The larger menu features Italian staples — pasta, risotto, pizza — but also branches out with big slabs of prime rib for dinner and ricotta hotcakes for brunch.
