It’s one of 34 cameras statewide rotating through construction zones, where violations are automatically mailed and fines escalate for repeat speeding within 18 months. 
• Deputy Arrested For Cocaine Possession On Duty in Otsego County, New York (hudsonvalleypost.com) — A sheriff’s lieutenant from Otsego County was arrested in Herkimer County after troopers say they found cocaine during a traffic stop on the Thruway while he was on duty in a county vehicle. His employment was immediately terminated, and the case will be prosecuted jointly by the Otsego and Herkimer County district attorneys’ offices.
