• Teen Hospitalized After E-Bike Crash In Hicksville: PD (patch.com) — A 16-year-old riding an e-bike was injured in a collision with a car at West John Street and Strong Street in Hicksville on Tuesday afternoon, according to Nassau County police. The teen suffered a leg injury and was taken to a local hospital, while the Hyundai driver stayed at the scene as the investigation continues.
• Newsday's top 100 Long Island girls volleyball players for 2026 (newsday.com) — Hicksville middle hitter Isabella Pusinelli has been named one of Newsday's top 100 Long Island girls volleyball players for the 2026 season, after posting 79 kills, 41 blocks and 46 aces last year. She's featured alongside standouts from Massapequa, Bethpage, Syosset and more, underscoring just how competitive Nassau and Suffolk volleyball will be this fall.
