Friday is another snow day for the district.
Hicksville Public School has announced Friday is another snow day following Thursday's blizzard-like conditions.
No one is happier to report this news as Patch regretfully sent out a news alert saying the district was closed before any sort of announcement was made.

Due to the weather conditions including icy roads and with safety a top priority, the Hicksville Public Schools will be closed, Friday, February 10, 2017. In addition to school being closed, please note that there will be no after school or evening activities.
