Hicksville Students Learn About Anti-Bullying Through Dance

A New York City-based dance team performed for the students while delivering inspirational messages.

Students at Lee Avenue Elementary School learned the importance of anti bullying while being treated to energetic song-and-dance performances.

JLine Dance Crew, a New York City-based team of dancers who perform while delivering inspirational messages, made a special visit to speak to the students about being tolerant of other people’s differences while embracing their own. The messages were played in between three dance numbers, and the performers shared their own experiences with bullying at the conclusion of the program.

The dance team’s visit supplemented Lee Avenue’s ongoing character education by teaching students about the importance of respect in a fun way.
