Hicksville Students Learn the Importance of a Clean, White Smile
It's never too early to practice good oral hygiene!
Kindergartners at Burns Avenue Elementary School learned just how important it is to have a clean, white smile when they met dental hygienist Kristyne Jackson.
Jackson, who works at The Smile Station in Levittown, held an educational presentation for the students to teach them about the importance of oral hygiene.
Students were treated to a puppet show featuring characters from Sesame Street, who stressed the importance of brushing, flossing and regular visits to the dentist. Students also asked questions following the animated presentation.
