Man Possessed Several Fraudulent Cards at Dave and Buster's in Westbury: Police

The Elmont man was arrested Sunday night.

An Elmont man was found to be in possession of several fraudulent PayPal cards while at Westbury’s Dave and Buster’s on Sunday night, police say.

According to authorities, Jamel S. Howard, 25, tried to use a bogus card to make a purchase at Dave and Buster’s, located at 1504 Old Country Road, at 11:25 p.m.

An employee recognized the card as being fraudulent and notified police. An investigation revealed Howard had six additional fraudulent cards in his possession, police say. He was arrested without incident.

Howard was charged with seven counts of second-degree possession of a forged instrument and will be arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.

Another man was also arrested for possessing several bogus credit cards at Dave and Buster’s on Saturday, Sept. 24.
