Man On Rollerblades Robs Hicksville Dunkin Donuts: Police

The man, who was wearing rollerblades in the store, purchased a cup of coffee before demanding the clerk give him all the cash, police say.

HICKSVILLE, NY — A man on rollerblades robbed a Dunkin Donuts in Hicksville on Friday night, according to Nassau Police. The man entered the store on N. Broadway wearing the rollerblades at about 7:50 p.m. and purchased a cup of coffee, police said.

The man, while simulating that he had a gun under his clothes, demanded that the store clerk give
him cash from the register. He then left the store with an unknown amount of money and was last seen roller skating southbound on Broadway.

No injuries were reported. The clerk described the man as 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing blue sweatpants, a brown "Carhartt" jacket, red beanie cap, surgical mask, black rubber gloves and inline roller blades with a bronze chassis.
