Man Wanted For Two Knifepoint Robberies In Nassau
Police say the masked man robbed a gas station and a liquor store, and they're seeking the public's help to find him.
Nassau County Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection with two knifepoint robberies in HIcksville.
According to police, the unknown man entered Spirits Wine and Liquore Store, located at 69 East Old Country Road, at 7:49 p.m. on Jan. 6. He pulled out a knife and demanded money from the employee behind the counter. The 53-year-old employee gave the man an undetermined amount of cash, and the man fled on foot south on Broadway.
Police believe this is the same man that pulled a knife during a robbery of the Citgo gas station located at 400 South Broadway in Hicksville on Dec. 20.

The robber is described as a white, 5-foot-10, about 160 to 180 pounds, wearing a black mask, black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes.
Detectives ask anyone with information regarding either of these crimes to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers remain anonymous.
