Nassau Man Drunkenly Crashes Into Fire Department Car: Police
Police say the man fled the scene of the accident, in which two people were injured. He was later located and arrested.

A Hicksville man was arrested late Sunday night after police officers say he drunkenly crashed his car into the back of a fire department vehicle.
According to police, officers on patrol on Sunday night just before midnight and saw a Hicksville Fire Department car stopped at the intersection of East Marie Street and Broadway, along with a 2009 Chevy. The fire department vehicle had damage on the back, and the Chevy had extensive front-end damage.
Police say the fire department vehicle was driving west on East Marie Street with its lights and sirens on when it was hit in the back by the Chevy, which was heading north on Broadway.

The 26-year-old driver of the fire vehicle suffered back pain, but refused treatment. The two passengers, a 57-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, were unhurt. The 22-year-old man who was a passenger in the Chevy had a cut on his lip and a broken jaw. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police say the driver of the Chevy had fled the scene on foot.
Police say an investigation determined that the driver of the Chevy was Sean Lee, 27, of Friendly Way, Hicksville. He was located at his home and placed under arrest without incident. he had suffered facial trauma and was taken to a hospital, where he was treated.

Lee is charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, leaving the scene of an incident and operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Monday.
