'Special Persons Day' In Hicksville

As part of an annual tradition, Burns Avenue Elementary School in the Hicksville Public School District hosted Special Person’s Day.

Loved ones joined students at the school, and together they participated in fun, educational and hands-on activities led by classroom teachers. The day not only brought families together for delightful slate of activities promoting teamwork, but also taught students about the importance of appreciating the loves ones in their lives.
