• Rockland Green Adds $1 Million To Animal Shelter's Construction Costs, So Far (rcbizjournal.com) — Rockland Green’s past construction of its Hillburn recycling facility involved more than 175 costly change orders, and similar overruns are now hitting its new animal shelter and headquarters projects. A recent audit shows nearly $1 million added to shelter construction, rising renovation costs in Nanuet, and higher taxpayer-funded animal management charges, all backed by long-term bond debt that begins coming due in 2026.
